2026 Milestones

These are the highlights from the past three years—not too shabby for one person with a vision, unrelenting passion, and patience. The dream is to empower older adults, people with disabilities, and those in underserved communities to overcome the technological challenges they now face as a result of the smart device revolution. Before that, cell phones, laptops, and televisions were much simpler to use.

This month marks our third anniversary of developing LevelUp Senior Tech Bridge, which we began in September 2023.

September 2026 will mark the first anniversary of having volunteers work directly with clients.

Three years ago, we had an average of 5 clients per week; we now average 20, sometimes even 30.

As of September 2026, we offer our services at 8 locations.

In the past three years, we've grown our client base to approximately 270.

In the last 12 months, we have submitted 7 grant applications. While we have yet to receive any approvals, we remain persistent in our efforts!

As of today, September 2nd, we are joining forces with the City of Boulder to increase the amount of electronic equipment recycled (LSTB is focusing on cell phones, laptops, and desktops) at their annual recycling events. Working with our clients, we've already facilitated the recycling of 17 laptops, 6 tablets, and 4 cell phones.

We are proud to announce the publication of our first video tutorial in collaboration with ConnectNTech. This initiative is led by Audey Shieh, a high school student from Washington State, who discovered our website and wanted to volunteer with us. She has a passion for helping seniors through videos to become more independent in resolving their own device issues.

This month also marks the beginning of our work on a free, publicly available LLM (Language Learning Model) to assist users in fixing their own computer problems when appropriate. This, in conjunction with the videos, should help a portion of our users become more independent.

We continue to highlight our first major achievement: being listed in the Boulder County Network of Care Online Older Adult Resource Guide to support our cause!

LevelUp Senior Tech Bridge is dedicated to providing free IT services and ongoing digital education to low-income older adults, individuals with disabilities, and marginalized communities in Boulder County.

Internet Essentials Program

August 2025 - Introducing our New Internet Essentials Program

The Internet Essentials Program is a consolidation of the crucial services we have provided since the organization’s founding in 2024. We have seen incredible success with the service model we have developed and are expanding on it through this new program, which is informed by our clients themselves, as well as through the expertise of LSTB’s Executive Director, Pavel Goldstein. This program offers recurring Open House Tech Clinics at older adult living facilities, senior centers, and assisted living locations in Boulder County. We had our first program clinic date at Boulder Winding Trails Post Acute care facility, on Tuesday, September 9th, 20205.
